Changing the look of a venue is why we do what we do. This is such a fun challenge, and has amazing results. This room was originally three times the size! We decided to drape it with grey linen and lots of fabulous lighting to give it a cozy feel since the event was for a small, intimate party of 100 guests. Adding soft setaing furniture can also drastically make a room seem more inviting and stylish, without adding the same traditional tables and chairs. It also keeps guests flowing and communicating throughout an event.
Comfort and a WOW factor are two major aspects of what we pay attention to when planning a party or seminar. When those are executed correctly, everyone seems at their best!

Go Tigers!

We were honored to plan the decor for a Clemson awards banquet. The group had an amazing turn out; over two hundred and fifty guests were there to help recognize the five recipients. Even the President of the university attended!
Brenda and I had a lot of fun working on this event. It was a traditional dinner, but the client wanted a wow factor. Our goal was to kept a true elegance to the event with modern touches.

It's Snowing!

Make sure to pick up a TALK magazine this month! The Euphoria VIP party we designed is featured! Our first write up! The owner of Twigs, and also a writer for TALK, Kate Tierney, featured the article because it really sparked her creativity. The arrangements were covered in snow with silver twigs for the ice themed event. We love working with her because she expresses a true passion for celebrating life through events like we do. Thanks Kate, and thanks Greenville! Your support is so important and we are grateful. We are looking forward to sparking many more minds in the future!

Unique Fundraiser

Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services, aka PAALS, and 90 Degrees Yoga teamed up this Saturday evening to create awareness and raise a little money for the organization. PAALS trains assistance animals to help individuals with disabilities.
When entering in the yoga studio, we were greeted by one of the helpers, AJ; a sweet yellow lab. Animals like AJ help make so many peoples lives easier and more enjoyable. Yoga instructor, Stephanie Terry, donated her services and time to teach this complimentary hot vinyasa class. This was not just any class either. This class was given in a candlelight setting. It was such a beautiful setting to see the class synchronizing their poses and casting shadows from tea light candles. We all spent the next hour enriching our bodies and minds....and sweating like crazy! Hot yoga is a favorite of mine. It helps you to relax and practically detox your system. I will definitely be back in the next week for a regular class.

I love NYC!

I think I died and went to heaven.
If you have not seen or heard of Lela Rose, I highly recommend you learn more about this Dallas native (http://www.lelarose.com/). She moved to NYC 16 years ago and has flourished into a modern, thoughtful designer.
Brenda and I had the opportunity to meet her in person and view her new Spring 2010 line at Coplon's in Greenville last Monday evening. TALK Magazine sponsored the intimate fashion show to raise money for The Children's Museum. There were about 100-125 fashionable women and men last that attended the show. It felt like a very small version of New York Fashion Week. Seeing an entire collection come to light was both moving and inspiring. Her clothes were fresh, elegantly casual and feminine. I wanted to walk away with every piece.
p.s. Greenville will be surprised this year with the number of high quality fashion events. I have to admit....I am ecstatic about what is to come!
